writemeaplay.com is a non-profit-making website set up in August 2007 by UK amateur playwright, Paul Mathews. It brings together playwrights and schools/drama groups who want to perform short plays/sketches, but can't find what they want.

Recently, Paul has written a short radio play for UK Anti-Bullying Week, a murder mystery play for the Stafford Players, comedy sketches for hospital radio, and a 5-minute potted history of Guy Fawkes' gunpowder plot. Paul has also had several plays published by Lazy Bee Scripts.

All fees go towards the cost of hosting and advertising this website - our reward is simply to know someone is performing our work! So, go on, drop us a line, and we'll write you a play!
